Oud House is a space for art, culture and creative exchange in Bospolder-Tussendijken (BoTu), Rotterdam West. Founded and run by Lennart Arpots and me(Yang Bai), it brings together artists, ideas and cultural projects, creating room for encounters and new perspectives.
When we started Oud House, I found an opportunity to make room for my long-standing interest in fashion. A small corner of the space became a place to explore this passion alongside my work as an architect. In the summer of 2024, that little corner became exes.
Within Oud House, exes has curated a series of editions of 'Vintage +art", creating a platform for local artists to showcasi e and sell their work, while bringing art and fashion into the same space.
Though Oud House and exes have their own identities, they share a curiosity about design and creative expression. Through exhibitions, collaborations and encounters, art, culture and fashion come together, opening up new perspectives and connections between different creative worlds.
